Driven By Independence and perseverance Laydee Lyrix is no stranger to rising to the occasion. As a Battle Rapper in 2008, she saw her first round of exposure boasting her an average of 80k views per battle. Inspirations include but are not limited to Tory Lanez, Dababy, Tyga, Alicia Keys, and Mariah Carey. As a Canadian Anishinabee, Laydee Lyrix has faced challenges connecting to culture as an urban native. She has done shows all over Canada and Florida in the US, she was also a Semi-Finalist in the 2021 Hollywood Bowl's "Opening Act". She attended this year's annual Coast 2 Coast conference in Miami Florida to meet with Atlantic Records. After taking in the constructive tips from her A&R Meeting she had on November 14th in Miami, she plans to complete her first album "Lifted" with hopes of releasing as early as 2023.
